about us

Our Mission

We are the Roman Catholic Media serving the multi-cultural Church in Belize, evangelizing and catechizing in communion with the Magisterium so that all can come to know the Faith and grow into full communion with the Church.

Our Vision

That the Good News will reach every corner of our nation and that each person will grow in wisdom and humility and will walk humbly before God. To create knowledge and awareness about the life of the Church and to immerse the Catholic faithful into the Church.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Belize City and Belmopan Announces death of Bishop Lawrence Sidney Nicasio

Diocesan News

With great sadness, I inform you of the death of our beloved Bishop Lawrence Sydney Nicasio. He died peacefully at 4:54 am on Monday January 1st, 2024 at his residence in Belize City, while under the care of hospice after an extended and debilitating struggle with cancer. He was 67 years old.
We offer sympathies and prayers for his family, to the priests, religious, friends and the faithful whose lives he touched throughout his 34 years of priestly and episcopal ministry. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
“Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in God’s peace.” Amen

Office of the Vicar General, Belize City.
